spring blue and white
This is a painting that I did in the spring, I really liked the simple colour combination, of white tulips and blue iris. This is also painted in watercolour.
Its a beautiful October day today, but I'm having a difficult time getting inspired to paint.
Hopefully something will catch my attention.
Cheers

pink flamingos
Hi,
This painting is an experiment in playing with the foreground and the background, cool and warm contrasts. Warm in the foreground cool in the background. The pink flamingos are from the Alabama zoo. I was fascinated with thier beauty and thier personalities. They loved all the attention and ardoration. Iloved the way they moved in unison.

Hi there,
My name is Cathy Earle. This is my first blog ever, so I would like to tell you a bit about myself.
I have been painting most of my life. I have always loved colour and nature. I have been fascinated with water and sky these days, and each time I paint it, I learn something new.I believe that we are all a work in progress, always evolving and changing.
I thought this might be a good way to get some exposure for my paintings and it would be great to get some feedback from other artists and art lovers.
